State of the Union

I just picked a paragraph at random from last night's
State of the Union address."Abroad, our Nation is committed to an historic, long-term goal – we seek the end of tyranny in our world.(
Holy shit is that going to be expensive!) Some dismiss that goal as misguided idealism
(Half the population based on your approval ratings). In reality, the future security of America depends on it
(Actually it probably depends on making sure companies like Ford don't lay off 30,000 people. Our poverty rate is already near 13% of the population). On September 11th, 2001, we found that problems originating in a failed and oppressive state seven thousand miles away could bring murder and destruction to our country
(They killed over 3,000 Americans in less than 3 hours, it's going to take your administration about 5 years to match that number over in Iraq). Dictatorships shelter terrorists, feed resentment and radicalism, and seek weapons of mass destruction
(Like North Korea? Where all of our efforts are focused?). Democracies replace resentment with hope, respect the rights of their citizens and their neighbors, and join the fight against terror
(Democratically elected HAMAS!). Every step toward freedom in the world makes our country safer, and so we will act boldly in freedom’s cause
(John Wayne would be proud Georgie boy)."
